Esperienza fantastica: Olivia, Sveva and the Olivia Sodi Team were our planners for our wedding celebration at Villia Medicea di Lilliano, on the outskirts of Florence, in October 2025. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical, and easily the best day of our lives. Olivia and Sveva ensured that every aspect of our welcome aperitivo and wedding was carefully planned, organized and detailed. They gently guided us through every phase - from initial aesthetics and overall vision to vendor sourcing and negotiations, to catering, floral and entertainment design, to finalization of the timeline and all of the tiny details in between, and finally, the big day itself. We only had a vague picture of how much detail goes into wedding planning, and we are grateful that Olivia and her team were happy to not only guide us, but also thoroughly explain each aspect along the way (we probably asked 1000+ questions). When we were worried, they made sure to address our concerns; and when we wanted something specific (fruit on the table!), they went above and beyond to make it happen. Olivia and her team were always transparent about expectations, the timeline, and financial topics, and we felt that they always had our best interests at heart. Simply put, choosing Olivia and Sveva as our wedding planners was the best decision we made in our entire wedding journey. I truly don’t know how to put into words how much these two women have done for us over the past year and a half, but I’ll try, because they deserve every bit of recognition. From the very beginning, they welcomed us with honesty, warmth, and the kind of calm confidence that instantly puts you at ease. They took us on during an incredibly busy season and still made us feel like our wedding was their absolute priority. Olivia was the one who found our wedding venue, La Pescaia, which alone would be reason enough to sing her praises. Without her, I might have chosen somewhere beautiful, but nowhere near as special, unique, and meaningful as La Pescaia. That’s how much I trusted her. I sent the deposit without ever seeing the venue in person. Over the following months, Olivia, Sveva, and their team went above and beyond in every way imaginable. She intuitively understands design, color, space, and emotion. She knows how to make a moment feel right. About a year before our wedding, they sent us a twenty-page inspiration board, and I still remember the tears that came to my eyes when I opened it. Every single element, from the color palette to the floral arrangements to the lighting plan to the dance floor layout, was perfect. It captured our vision and somehow elevated it beyond what I could have ever imagined. And when the day came, they executed every single detail flawlessly. They also introduced us to every single vendor we worked with, each one exceptional. I didn’t have to search for a single vendor myself because we trusted their recommendations completely, and I’m so glad we did. Every part of our wedding, from catering to lighting to photography, came together beautifully under their guidance. But what truly sets Olivia and Sveva apart is who they are as people. They are not only brilliant at what they do, they are kind, genuine, and full of heart. They truly care. They love what they do, and it shows in every interaction, every decision, every little moment. There was one moment, right before we walked into dinner, when Olivia took my husband and me aside. From the moment I met Olivia over a video call in July 2023, I felt such warmth and familiarity with her. She felt like someone I could eat dinner with and also like someone who had the deep experience I wanted. Hiring her turned out to be the best choice. We just got married in June 2025 and I can safely say Olivia and her team are the reason our dream wedding came true. Olivia helped us pick the perfect team between vendors she was very familiar with but also vendors she hadn’t worked with before (like our venue). She and her team brought wisdom and knowledge but also flexibility when it was important to us. They smoothly handled unexpected challenges that came our way (like last minute possible downpours), were the absolute best day-of coordinators, and made both us and our guests feel so taken care of. As a closing note, I will say that I am a tech industry manager with a high pressure job and very type A expectations.

One month later, our guests are still talking about how exquisite every aspect of our wedding weekend was. It was the weekend of a lifetime for all, and we have Olivia and her team to thank for that. We truly could not have asked for more from her and her team; there is not one detail we would change. Her and her team knocked it out of the park, and being from NY, we are quite demanding clients! One thing that drew us to Olivia is that all of her weddings are beautiful, but also completely unique. You could tell that she really understood the couple’s vision and took great care in executing it. None of her weddings are the same trends you see over and over when you start looking at weddings in Italy. We had strong opinions about what we wanted in a wedding and a very specific aesthetic; Olivia and her team executed our vision perfectly. She is creative and exhibits great care and attention to detail. Olivia and her team are very passionate about what they do, and it shows in the execution. Planning a destination wedding in Italy can be a very daunting process, but Olivia and her team communicated effectively and efficiently throughout the entire planning process. We came to rely on their judgment and sound advice on all aspects of the planning from vendor selection, to the flow of the day and budgeting. There were certain parts of the weddings where we had differing opinions and Olivia was extremely helpful in offering her honest opinion and guiding us towards a solution we both felt comfortable with. They are problem solvers, and very decisive and confident in their advice - you can tell that this comes from many years of experience. Olivia paid close attention to what was important to us and our vision and selected perfect vendors for our style and budget. She also went to bat for us with several vendor negotiation issues that arose during the process, and was able to get us a favorable outcome each time. We felt she was a true partner and that we could trust her to guide us and maximize our budget. To be frank, we are not easy clients - we are extremely detail-oriented and perfectionists. We have high expectations in routine dealings, so for our wedding, we expected nothing short of a flawless execution. Olivia and her team exceeded our expectations in every aspect - from day-of coordination to making our mood boards come alive perfectly. One major fear that every bride has (especially when you’re Type A!) is not being able to fully enjoy the wedding because you are too focused on the details being executed perfectly. Not only was the day completely stress-free, but I felt completely at ease having Olivia and her team by my side. I truly checked out and had the best weekend of my life. For example, they pulled off a very complicated cake ceremony perfectly: guests were ushered from dinner to watch the cake being made at the bottom of a the main steps of the Villa while I changed into a party dress - we then made our grand entrance from the top of the steps to a specific song, and fireworks went off when we got to the bottom of the steps at a precise moment in the song – this required extremely close coordination between us, the caterer, DJ, photographer and fireworks company to ensure execution at precisely the same moment – the timing was perfect and it was the highlight of the wedding. There is truly nothing Olivia and her team could not pull off, and I have complete faith that they can execute anyone’s dream wedding perfectly. They are complete professionals and Olivia has a wonderful way of making you feel at ease with her positive and calming energy. We truly could not have asked for more from her and her team. Every element of our fairytale wedding was picture-perfect, from the enchanting venue to the exquisite decor to the delicious cuisine. We ran into a few mishaps such as rain which flooded the garden of the original ceremony site and the team managed a seamless quick relocation with no notice of distress. We ran a little behind schedule because of myself and the team managed to gently put us back on track. Her and her team are the most resourceful people I know, starting from very important stuff (like how to make everything look like a Million dollar) to the minimum details (like spray tanning). Olivia's aesthetic eye transforms everything into the most beautiful setting, to the minimum detail. Not only, she is able to tell where extra details are not needed. Brides often worry that there are no enough flowers or not enough entertainment elements: Olivia can assure you what is enough! She knows how to save you money and how to get the best outcomes. Olivia is a very straight forward person, which is what you need when you are planning a wedding. You just have to trust her expertise. She really cares about her creations, even how the flowers are getting arranged etc. She wants to have direct supervision of every single step. Every wedding for her is like her own baby, this is because she is a loving and passionate person. We have planned our wedding from abroad and communication with Olivia was very easy. Every call or email is labeled and there is a TO DO chart which shows everyone's progress. The organizational skills are mind-blowing! When the big day arrived, we walked into our wedding thinking that it looked beautiful, beyond expectations! Everything looked glamorous and more expensive than what we've actually invested. Everything ran smoothly according to the plan. Literally, here is no one thing we could complain about or wish we did differently. We felt relaxed and confident the whole time. We even had food which tasted amazing! All this thanks to Olivia, Ludovica and Sveva. Will always be grateful for their help and treasure these memories for ever. Esperienza fantastica: If you’re looking for a planner for your Italian wedding, do yourself a favor and CALL OLIVIA. At the beginning of our planning process, we spoke to three planners and immediately connected with Olivia and her team. My husband and I had a budget and a general sense of what we wanted, but Olivia’s team was really able to help us build out a vision for the full wedding weekend and pick the right venue, all over video and email. Over the next few months, they guided us through the vendor selection process and conveyed what we were looking for to the florist, caterer, stationery designer, etc. Olivia has a great eye for what elements will really make a difference and especially helped us with the small details like stationery/floral/lighting design, which we would not have been able to do ourselves. They also helped us find a restaurant and plan a menu for our rehearsal dinner, plus find the perfect venue for our welcome party. But the wedding day is what really blew us away. Olivia’s vision came to life and was so much better than we could have ever imagined. She, Sveva, and Ludovica absolutely killed it - the setting, decor, food, service, etc were spectacular and we owe it all to this team! People have asked us if we’re relieved that the planning process is over and I have to say no because Olivia and her team made it that easy. We would hire them again in an instant.

She was genuinely kind, professional, honest, and upfront about what our budget meant our big day could look like. She worked with us for over 2 years and never missed a beat or took longer than a couple of days to respond to any email. We felt her and her team kept our best interest at heart and wanted to make our day perfect just as much as we did. They made our lives so easy when it came to vendor selection and communicating with vendors on our behalf which avoided all language barriers. My wedding was originally in 2020 and had to be postponed twice due to pandemic. Throughout the whole process, Olivia was so patient, kind and supportive. She ensured everything regarding the rescheduling went smoothly and managed communications with all vendors. My husband and I lived in US so planning a destination wedding during pandemic was definitely stressful, and Olivia and her team really made everything possible for us. Esperienza fantastica: Impeccable taste yet so down to earth, we fell in love with Olivia from the moment we met back in 2019. This woman is EXCEPTIONAL. I remember sitting down at a little cafe in the centre of Fiesole after we scouted out a few venues, and her taking the time to really get to know us, asking about our vision for the wedding and going through our inspiration board photo by photo to get a sense of what it was we loved about each. She really puts you at ease and makes it her goal to create an event that feels so personal and authentic to you as a couple. Over the next three years and two cancellations/delays later, her team worked tirelessly with the vendors etc. to make things happen without any additional cost, and we finally had our dream event in August 2022. Wedding planning can be stressful, but she really took all of the tension out of the process and made it so delightful, finding creative ways to really make things feel so magical while staying perfectly within our budget. By the end, we felt so comfortable with her and Sveva and Ludovica and the fact that they knew us that we gave them carte blanche for planning our welcome aperitivo. "This is our budget. Do your thing. We trust you implicitly, just make it colourful!" is all we said. When we arrived at the venue (a cool local spot recommended by Olivia and Sveva, with the stunning back drop of the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio), we were just blown away. Bella bella bella with just a happy, low key vibe that felt so good for the soul. I cried. Our guests loved it. And the wedding the day after was even more sublime. Thank you Olivia, Sveva, Ludovica... you ladies are just the best. We cannot thank you enough for giving us the happiest memories from these two days. Definitely worth the wait!

This was especially true when it came to helping us postpone our wedding during the pandemic. On the day itself, Olivia and Sveva did an amazing job of setting everything up and making sure our vendors and guests were in the right place at the right time (with huge smiles on their faces throughout!). Olivia and her team get an A++ for all of their efforts -- they were easy to communicate with, professional, kind, thoughtful, and efficient. Esperienza fantastica: We were planning our wedding from abroad and had looked for a wedding planner to help us plan our dream wedding in Tuscany. Instantly, we clicked with Olivia and knew she was the one. She was friendly, responsive, understood what we were looking for, and had great ideas. And we can confidently say now that we definitely made the right choice! Throughout the entire wedding planning, we thoroughly enjoyed working with Olivia and her team. Olivia is extremely responsive and always on top of things (and made sure we were too!). She quickly grasped the vibe and atmosphere we were going for and made that happen—but also wasn’t afraid to suggest great ideas of her own to make it even better. Her extensive experience planning weddings allowed her to ensure that everything went smoothly. On top of all of that, she is a great person, and we feel like we walked away with a new friend! It was seriously the best day we could have imagined. It was a fairytale wedding on the Tuscan countryside, with 160 of our closest friends and family from around the world. Logistics were smooth, the set-up was flawless, and our “plan B” due to the rain ended up being even better than our “plan A”! We live in New York and it was so important for us to have a planner that would have time for us, her own style and connections in the region. Throughout the year, Olivia was very responsive and always available for calls, and we quickly trusted her with any decisions that had to be made. Olivia lives in Tuscany and is a true local expert! She has such a great overview of the region, and she found us the most beautiful wedding venue. She has a great portfolio of local high-quality vendors (catering, florists, music, lighting, etc.), and it was always exciting to see which unique ideas she would share with us. Olivia is also very creative and is on top of what styles and designs are on trend for the season. Her creative mindset took our wedding to the next level and it was more special than we could have ever imagined - everything from the table setting to the decorations to making our different nationalities shine was perfect. Esperienza fantastica: From the very first time we spoke with Olivia Sodi, we immediately knew that she was the right planner for us. We had researched many Italian based wedding planners and Olivia was by far the most professional, friendly, creative, enthusiastic and sincere planner. Olivia helped us plan a welcome party, our wedding and a BBQ the following day in Tuscany in June 2019. She did not rush us and took time to understand what we wanted to achieve for our wedding celebrations. We loved spending time with Olivia discovering, inspecting and selecting the venue for our wedding. Throughout the whole process Olivia and her team were guiding hands who co-ordinated everything from the venue, the catering, photography, church and civil paperwork, lighting, music and everything else you can imagine. Olivia has the best contacts! She made amazing suggestions for our special day but did not impose anything on us. Everything was done in consultation and agreement which was very important to us. Olivia was so organised and took all the stress and pressure away from us in the run up to our wedding. This was so important to us as we don’t live in Italy. Olivia also speaks English perfectly which was so useful as we do not speak any Italian! She spent so much time and effort to speak with us on the phone, to skype us and to answer any questions we had at any time! The end result of our wedding was so amazing! All our friends and family had not seen anything so special, unique and beautiful at any wedding they had ever been to. They cannot stop talking about it. We couldn’t be happier with meeting Olivia and feel so lucky that Olivia and her team agreed to plan our special day. Everything went perfectly without any problems or stress.
