We knew we needed help coordinating and planning a Tuscan wedding, and Ben's cool & collected demeanor really stood out from other planners. The team was incredibly helpful every step of the way, and really ramped up communications towards our big day to ensure things ran smoothly. ItalyWedding's portfolio of vendors and partners was also incredibly invaluable, and made the planning process that much smoother - if you're in want of something for your wedding, trust that Ben and Gaia will meet the need and provide plenty of professional insight. Esperienza fantastica: Ben is the best! We just got married in Tuscany this past summer and Ben was the best support we could have asked for. He connected us with great vendors throughout our planning process and was quick to respond to our many requests (especially in comparison to most italian businesses that take weeks to reply). In the weeks directly ahead of the wedding as well as the wedding week itself, Ben was such a pro. He is so excellent with organizing vendors and arranging logistics, everything was so smooth. I can genuinely say that not a single thing went wrong on our wedding day, and I'm certain that's because Ben thought everything through so well that any type of issue was either expertly prevented, or solved before we could notice. His wife, Marisa was our florist and she was truly a 10/10. We went for a slightly unorthodox color scheme and table setting and she brought it all to life so perfectly. It was also such a helpful bit that they are husband and wife, as they were always in the loop / in conversation about updates and last minute changes which was so helpful. Thanks so much!

Esperienza fantastica: We rented the Podere Cell villa for a week long celebration of our wedding. There were a lot of stressful parts of coordinating the events, our family, and contacts in Italy, but the one thing I had no worries about was the day of the wedding because Italy Weddings, and specifically our wedding planner Gaia, was on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed to have the most perfect day. Disclaimer: If you choose to have a wedding at this villa, you do have to use this wedding planning company. However, we are extremely happy that this is the case because the team was amazing. First, we had a meeting with Ben, the owner, who gave us a rundown of what they do and an idea of services they can offer. They are EXTREMELY flexible, both in terms of budget and what you need! They have a variety of vendors that they work with for catering, photographers, florals, etc. But if you have a vendor already in mind, you can also work with Italy Weddings to use them instead. For example, we had a photographer already in mind that we wanted to use who was actually based in Naples and not one of the preferred listed vendors. They were happy to coordinate things with us and them. Another example of their flexibility is that we wanted to do a symbolic ceremony (because we didn't want to deal with the paperwork in Italy, so we got legally married prior to our Italy wedding). Ben volunteered to do the reading for us, and sent over a script with options on readings, vows, prayers, etc. They let us massage the wordings as much as we wanted, and a lot of the suggestions were truly beautiful and meaningful. We also had several Zoom meetings in the beginning with Gaia, so that she can get an idea of what we needed for our wedding: how many people we had, what vision we had (and we shared our vision board on Pinterest with her), what kind of food we want, etc. She then set up a timeline for us on what decisions we needed to make, and when, as well as suggestions for each thing based on our interviews and our vision boards. She suggested that we try to visit Italy and do a tasting/see the villa ahead of time, but we couldn't swing a separate earlier trip unfortunately. However, Gaia did come to the rehearsal, with all our information. Again, their professionalism and flexibility really came into play here! I really wanted to do my own stationery for menus, signs, etc, so while they suggested a company, they ultimately let us figure out what we wanted to do. On the rehearsal, I just handed over all my materials (as well as a 10 page document with photos of everything and where I wanted it), and Gaia took care of everything for me. She clearly communicated to our family and bridal party exactly what we were going to do on the day of the wedding and made us practice so that the day of the wedding was much smoother. She also kept an eye on the weather that week, because it was originally forecasted to rain, so she made sure there was a contingency plan in place. She also noted it was going to be cold, so she also recommended renting blankets for the event too. She really thought of everything to ensure our guests were comfortable! On the day of the wedding, she was there essentially the whole day to coordinate the catering, lighting, florals, photographer, car rental for the Fiat 500 we rented, and wedding party to make sure everything was on schedule. I know most weddings run late, but not ours! Ours was perfectly in order and the ceremony started on time! She ensured that the ceremony transitioned to the cocktail hour and then to dinner without problems! She went over several things with us, but still managed to blend seamlessly into the background. She was the invisible hand that orchestrated our magical day. Honestly, our vendors were all amazing, but we simply could not have had such a perfect wedding day without Gaia and the Italy Weddings team.

From the first email and video call we knew we found the right person and team to help plan our day. My partner and I interviewed with several wedding planners before discovering the ItalyWeddings website and reading their reviews. From the initial back and forth emails with Ben we knew that the team was organized and capable of making our dream a reality. The idea of planning a wedding in a foreign country and with a language barrier was quite daunting but Ben and Cristina made us feel at ease with their professionalism and commitment to us right from the start. Our main point of contact and our wedding coordinator for our big day was Cristina. She was there to hold our hand throughout the planning process - helping us select and deal with vendors, make decisions and most importantly answering and clarifying the millions of questions we had. When we had issues or concerns, Cristina strongly advocated for us as her clients. During the actual wedding day, Cristina truly felt like a member of the family, and made the day so much more special because of it. When we explained our vision, ItalyWeddings was there to facilitate the process and make it a reality. What started as a crazy conversation between my partner and I - “Could we actually do a destination wedding?” - ended with 40 of our closest friends and family at a picture perfect Villa in the Tuscan hills and memories that will last a lifetime. Esperienza fantastica: Words cannot begin to describe how amazing our experience was working with the ItalyWeddings team. From the initial call with Ben where he listened to our ideas and provided recommendations on venues to our day-to-day communication with Cristina as she managed every detail of our wedding, their service was exceptional. Cristina was instrumental in bringing our wedding vision to life. She was extremely responsive and detail oriented. She was also very patient with my numerous questions throughout the planning process. We were also very happy with the vendors recommended by Cristina. We received options for catering, hair/make-up, music, photographer, etc. We trusted all of the recommended vendors as we knew they were vetted by Ben and Cristina. When my hair/make-up artist had to withdraw from servicing our wedding, Cristina and Ben immediately took care of booking another artist who was amazing. Planning a destination wedding from thousands of miles away can be very stressful. We never felt any anxiety as we knew Cristina had everything under control. Our wedding day was beyond our expectations and we couldn’t have done it without her. We are so grateful for the exceptional service we received and highly recommend Cristina and Ben at ItalyWeddings.

Esperienza fantastica: Ben & Team- I’m not sure where to begin with thanking you for how incredible you were throughout the whole process of our amazing wedding weekend. I honestly cant recommend ItalyWeddings ENOUGH. I’m the first to admit I was a very difficult bride... I’m neurodivergent and have chronic ADHD (as well as a whole heap of anxiety) so planning this for me was incredibly daunting and difficult - until I met Ben & his amazing team. From start to finish he laid everything out and helped us make easy step by step decisions and we had a weekend that far surpassed anything I could have ever imagined. We wanted a 3 day wedding focused around food and drink and he helped advise us on a location and a venue that suited us perfectly and that worked within our budget. He helped plan our visits to Italy to view venues and also built us an itinerary by day for when we came out to do tastings/makeup trials/flowers etc and took care of making all the relevant appointments. They took all the stress out of the planning and helped us really enjoy our pre-wedding trips which otherwise would have been very stressful and un-productive. In the months and weeks leading up to our big day there was a lot of details that needed finalising – something that I was AWFUL at- and Ben made sure I was happy with the big decisions and took care of all the rest. Two weeks before the wedding our hair and makeup team pulled out and Ben had fixed another incredible team within a day. On the wedding day when the starters came out it transpired that I had messed up my guest’s dietary requirements, forgetting someone was vegetarian and Ben fixed it seamlessly. Ben was our MC on the day and was just fantastic- I was so disorganised I didn’t select any music and Ben chose the most PERFECT songs that had us all laughing, crying and dancing. There is so so much more I could say and I hope they know how grateful we are- all our guests were blow away by the entire weekend and we couldn’t have had a better wedding if we tried. If you are looking for a team to help you plan the wedding of a lifetime look no further than Ben & his team and if you are on the fence about getting a planner I cannot recommend enough how much time, money and stress this amazing team will save you. Esperienza fantastica: Italy weddings has gone above and beyond for us! We planned a 2 year wedding abroad and with COVID changes making it 3 years! They always communicated all the changes and needs we had to do to make this possible. Ben is an absolutely amazing wedding planner! He is professional, poised and gracious at all times. He worked with us from start to finish to make every thought come to life. Our wedding was beautiful and glamorous. It was the day we had always dreamed of. The flowers, decorations and outdoor lighting at the reception were stunningly gorgeous. I can’t thank them enough for making this one of the best days of our lives

Esperienza fantastica: ItalyWeddings were one of a few wedding planners we contacted after becoming engaged ItalyWeddings from the off were so personable and seemed almost as excited as we were for our wedding, they were the obvious and absolutely right choice. Our initial contact was with Ben who then introduced us to Matilde from our first visit to view possible venues - Matilde has been excellent throughout the whole experience and went above and beyond on several occasions especially over the last year with rescheduling and the various restrictions in place. Our wedding day was perfect and that was all down to Matilde, ItalyWeddings and the other vendors - which included Le Petit Jardin whose floral displays blew me away Marisa interpreted my vision completely. Myself and my husband are so grateful to Matilde and ItalyWeddings for everything they did to make our wedding day perfect - we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, all of our guests were equally impressed. Planning a destination wedding can be quite overwhelming — especially when you're a type-A bride, like I was during our wedding planning. We enlisted the ItalyWeddings team and they were remarkably professional. Ben was a calm voice during my many frenetic moments of concern about how our wedding would pan out since we could not accommodate a trip to Italy before our big day. Ben and Italy Weddings instantly stood out. Ben made everything seem so easy by giving us a load of very useful information straight away and making us feel as though we were important, even though it was 18 months before we planned to get married! Ben, Martina, Matilde and all of the team were brilliant from start to finish. They listened to exactly what we wanted and made it happen while still providing honest advice based on their extensive knowledge. They were responsive in communication, patient with all of our (many) questions and gave us the structure to plan the wedding that is needed for a destination wedding. They gave us a wide range of options for suppliers and where these didn't match our needs they went the extra mile to find more that did. On the wedding day itself Ben and Matilde made the day so stress free for us. When the weather wasn't behaving they had seamlessly made alternative plans and made the proceedings flow so smoothly. We can't thank them enough and would definitely recommend Italy Weddings!

The evening could not have gone smoother, and we literally did not need to worry about anything once. We enjoyed our wedding with our family and friends, and Ben, Marisa, Matilde and Martina handled the rest. Esperienza fantastica: When my partner and I decided to get married abroad, I stumbled across Italy Weddings online. I dropped them an e-mail to enquire and from the very beginning, they made everything so simple that it was an easy decision to have them organise our big day. Having been to many weddings where we had watched the bride and groom stressing out about all the details months before, during and even after the wedding, we knew we wanted something different. Ben, Martina and their team made that all possible for us. We told them what we wanted and they made every element come to life in a way which caused us no stress or concern. I couldn't have imagined anything better. On the actual wedding day everything was seamless and we were able to concentrate on enjoying ourselves with our family and friends. The flowers, music, food and drink were all beyond amazing and Ben managed everything in such a subtle and unobtrusive way that it felt like there were fairies conducting the event!! Everybody said that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and we loved every second. I would not hesitate to recommend Ben and his team and can't thank them enough for all the hard work they put into our day for us.
