Esperienza fantastica: In August 2025, our wedding took place at Hotel Villa Cipressi, Lake Como. We decided to plan our own wedding, using Guja's services for co-ordination on the day. In our view, Guja and her team are absolutely priceless. The advice leading up to the wedding with regular prompt messages and video calls allowed us to plan the wedding to perfection. Living in the UK meant we did have some apprehension being so far away and only getting to the venue a few days before. Guja and her team put all our reservations to the side, which gave us so much confidence that our day would be perfect. On the wedding day, Guja and her team worked none stop attending to all our guests and suppliers needs. Looking back, we just don't know what we would have done without her. We planned a wedding in a city we had never been to, and somehow, she made every decision feel easy and every step feel exciting. She integrated herself into our day so effortlessly, and we are eternally grateful for her. If you’re lucky enough to work with Guja, you will feel cared for, understood, and completely supported every step of the way. I will recommend her to all of my brides looking to get married in LC. Esperienza fantastica: Our journey with Guja began in 2023 when we were excitedly looking for a wedding planner to plan our lake Como wedding. Honestly, it just never would have happened without her. From the beginning, we knew Guja was the right fit for us. She was kind, honest, and adamant she would find the perfect venue and vendors for us. The initial stages of planning would have been extremely stressful without her. She communicated with our potential venues and all of the vendors on our behalf and within a short period of time we had absolutely all of our vendors locked in. Guja was always happy to meet via zoom and she was extremely generous with her time. As we didn’t travel to Italy before our wedding, Guja did everything to make sure we were comfortable with every choice, even meeting my husband’s parents at the menu tasting when we weren’t able to go. When it was finally time to travel to Italy, we arrived in the area 2 weeks before the wedding, so she even helped me find somewhere to get my nails done and sat with me at the salon to translate! We are so grateful to have had our wedding at the beautiful Villa Regina Teodolinda and thanks to Guja, it was the most beautiful day of our lives. Guja put so much heart and soul into every single detail, and we were absolutely blown away! Thank you so much Guja. If we could do it all again, we would!

Esperienza fantastica: Guja is an excellent wedding planner! She helped us plan our wedding in Lake Como, Italy. We live in the US and planned the wedding remotely without visiting the venue. Guja made it easy for us and on the day of the wedding she had all the details covered. All of her vendors were great as well. Our friends and family loved her and she became family to us all. I would highly recommend Guja’s wedding planning services!

Coming from the states, planning a wedding in Lake Como seemed so overwhelming, but Guja made everything very smooth and easy. I cannot imagine the amount of things that would have gone wrong if I did not have her! Esperienza fantastica: Where do I even begin? It has been a long, wonderful journey with Guja. I am extremely Type A and have worked as a wedding coordinator in the past, so I knew I HAD to hire someone who I could trust so I could be carefree on the day of the wedding. From day one, Guja (literally) fought for us. In May 2023, we flew to Lake Como to scope out wedding venues. We fell in love with one of them, and without going into too much detail, it didn’t work out. However, during that whole debacle, Guja really tried to make it work (and we hadn’t even officially hired her yet). Seeing how she handled that situation, we decided to hire her to plan our 3 day wedding. With that being said, we still did not have a wedding venue booked and we were nervous because we really wanted to be able to see the venue before booking it. Guja sent over a few more wedding venue options and we decided to go with Villa Regina Teodolinda. She was never biased to any of the venues and always made sure it was truly our decision! Throughout the past year and a half we met periodically via Zoom to talk through details of the wedding, the meetings would range from 30 mins to 2 hours and we never felt rushed. Whenever we met with Guja, we had 100% of her attention. Whenever we had an idea, Guja made it happen! My husband and I come from different cultures (France and the Philippines) and she even came up with ideas to try to incorporate both of our cultures in the small wedding details. Guja, also, already had items that we were able to use during our events (picture frames, card box, projector/screen, etc.). In April 2024, my husband and I decided to take another trip to Lake Como to visit the venue and do all of our tastings. Guja planned the whole trip and accompanied us to all our site visits, tastings and suit appointments (for my husband, we ended up getting his suit in Milan and had the BEST experience). When we finally saw our venue in person, we were at a loss for words to describe its beauty! It was even more charming than the photos we saw, we were so happy with our decision! Guja really understood our vision for the wedding! During this trip, Guja went above and beyond! From leaving a little personalized note and folder in our hotel room when we checked in, to making sure we always had transportation to and from our appointments - every little detail was thought through. Now, for the actual wedding events. As mentioned before, we had 3 wedding events: Welcome Drinks, Welcome Dinner and Wedding Day. Guja was present at the Welcome Drinks and the Wedding Day, but unfortunately wasn’t able to make it to the Welcome dinner (which she informed us when we hired her and we were ok with). However, she had a lovely assistant, Elisa, who was present on all 3 days and was extremely helpful. Again, being the Type A person that I am, I was very nervous because I had a lot of small details that I wanted executed during the events, but Guja took care of ALL of them! Especially on the day of the wedding, I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY! I anticipated that the wedding day would be beautiful, but on the actual day, my expectations were exceeded! In addition, Guja asked if she could design the ceremony space and surprise us - I said yes, I trust her. And it turned out even more beautiful than I could’ve ever imagined! The whole day flowed seamlessly and so many of my guests raved about Guja - how attentive and approachable she was. I wish I could relive the day over and over again! I could go on and on about how amazing Guja is, but to wrap it up - if you’re looking for someone to put their heart and soul into planning your wedding, don’t look any further and hire Guja!!

Esperienza fantastica: Guja did a beautiful job planning our wedding! My fiancé and I are from NY and Guja made planning this wedding so easy and stress free. She suggested vendors, ideas, created a timeline and a shared Google doc so we could keep track of everything. She was also very attentive on WhatsApp, email and zoom. When we met Guja finally, I was so happy. She planned our rehearsal dinner, wedding and farewell brunch to a t! She was very professional! She made our wedding the best day of my life and I cannot recommend her business enough. If you plan on getting married in Italy, she will do a fantastic job and help you every step of the way. She really was amazing at her job and she is a good person.

Esperienza fantastica: We have so many wonderful things to say about Guja, but we've narrowed it down as best we could for brevity. If you're looking for a sign, this is it - Hire Guja!! For anyone planning a destination wedding in the Lake Como area, having a local planner is a must. There are so many quirky things to learn about payments, music permits, and the [slow] pace at which vendors execute contracts, and Guja was such a wonderful and knowledgeable resource throughout. She helped us to source talented florists, photographers, and videographers, was happy to seek out alternative vendors and to get competing bids, and helped us to find some cost-saving opportunities along the way. Being U.S.-based, we often had planning calls at 6 a.m., and we looked forward to speaking with Guja each and every time. Come wedding time, her attention to detail was on point, and she was ready to go with contingency options when the weather looked less than ideal. We just received our final videos, and it’s amazing to see how present Guja was throughout, basically part of the bridal party and easily coerced onto the dance floor for a twirl with the bride and groom when Annalisa was playing. Esperienza fantastica: Working with Guja was a delight. My husband and I got married in Lake Como, Italy. Guja went above and beyond in every way when it came to our wedding. We live in New York so planned our wedding from another country; having Guja on the ground in Italy made our lives so much easier. Guja was our on the day coordinator but she helped us immensely in the lead up to our wedding, solving problems and always ensuring us she had things covered (which she did). Her communication was impeccable. When we met her in-person the week of the wedding it was like meeting an old friend. Our wedding would not have been the same without her. No task was too big or small and she did everything with a smile on her face and an amazing attitude. We had numerous friends and family members comment on her work on the day, everyone noticed how incredible she was. My husband and I will be forever grateful to her and the help she provided to us on the most important day of our lives. I could not recommend her enough. I only wish we had brought her on earlier in the planning process!

Going around to look at potential sites on the classic Riva limousine boat was just a dream. We immediately fell in love the Villa Monestero in Varenna for our elopement wedding. Everything became a whirlwind to arrange as we chose a date only 12 weeks away in June! You were simply amazing. Everything was organised so quickly and you took total control. The paperwork and the vendors were quickly arranged and everything went without a hitch. Catarina's Villa in Tremezzo was just perfect and in the heart of a beautiful Italian village. Every day opening the windows in the morning to the most gorgeous view of the lake just brings a smile to our faces just thinking about it! The most special part for us was both you and Caterina agreeing to be our witnesses for our special day. We both felt to delighted you both were part of special day and in our memories forever. ❤️ You're a beautiful soul and we are delighted we found the perfect person to help us with our dream wedding. Esperienza fantastica: I hired Guja to help plan my proposal in Lake Como. She was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. She helped liase with vendors and made sure everything went perfectly as planned. She also went beyond this and helped me to plan my trip too. She helped me to get dinner reservations in Milan as well as Varenna. Anytime I needed any help she was my go to person and would respond very quickly. She is lovely to work with and would highly recommend.
